Don Miller currently manages the firm's Eastern Washington office, located in Chewelah.  Don services clients from both the Chewelah and Woodinville offices.  He has been instrumental in pioneering our remote office links that have put us in the forefront of servicing clients in the age of technology.

Don has been in the accounting and business consulting field since 1971.  After obtaining his BS in business administration at the University of Montana, Don’s first years in accounting practice were with Price Waterhouse & Co. in their Seattle office, where he audited small and medium sized businesses. In the late 1970’s after attaining his MBA from the University of Washington, Don accepted employment with a local CPA firm in Kirkland, Washington.  The depth of his experience developed over ears of service to his clients is an invaluable resource.  In 1978, Don founded the firm now known as "Miller Rieke Whitsell & Co., PS."

Debbie Goss has been employed in the field of accounting since 1989, and has spent all  of her career in public accounting, with the exception of a three year stint in private industry.  Debbie joined Miller Rieke Whitsell & Co., PS in 2002.

Debbie's experience includes:

• Preparation and review of compiled, reviewed and audited financial statements
• Preparation and review of corporate, partnership, individual and fiduciary income tax returns
• Consultation with owners of small to medium sized businesses and assistance with accounting system maintenance and controls

Nobuko Mitsunaga has been involved in the field of accounting since 1996.  From 1996 through 2002, she spent two years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen, LLP and five years in private industry.  Nobuko joined Miller Rieke Whitsell & Co., PS in  2003.

• Individual, corporation and partnership tax returns
• Preparation of reviewed and compiled financial statements
• Expatriate and resident alien individual tax returns
• Fluent in both written and verbal Japanese

Gayla Watkins has been employed in accounting since 1983.  She has spent considerable time in both public and private accounting.  Gayla likes the challenge of working with businesses to organize their in-house accounting systems.  She feels that the foundation of every business is correct and timely financial information.  While working with clients, Gayla uses her considerable skills not only to analyze and correct accounting records but also to train and educate users of the accounting systems.  She is able to support clients with most aspects of their business.  Gayla joined Miller Rieke Whitsell & Co., PS in 1995.
